Blackwork Supply was created to bring technology and medical innovation to the tattoo industry. Historically, the tattoo world has relied on hand-me-down products developed for other industries to piece together a decent set up. While most products met the basic needs of the artists, they were intended for other uses under different conditions and were designed to be used for shorter durations of time. Tattoo artists wear gloves for longer periods than any other profession, so it only makes sense that they should have products designed to meet their requirements. Blackwork’s mission is to develop and bring forth the most scientifically advanced products in the world to the tattoo industry. Blackwork products are made to withstand the rigors of the trade, products not just sold to tattooers, but made for tattooers.

MEET THE TEAM


Scott Tubandt

President/Co-Founder

Scott is a 40-year healthcare industry veteran in medical, dental and surgical product sales and distribution. Prior to Co-Founding Blackwork Worldwide, LLC, Scott held numerous sales, marketing, and executive positions including the successful launch of two successful companies. He most recently served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of an international healthcare distribution organization, as well as a domestic master distributor of medical and surgical supplies. Scott has previously served on multiple industry boards and is an active investor in several healthcare related ventures.

Scott and his wife Tammy make their home on the Cumberland Plateau in East Tennessee where they enjoy lake living, golf, hiking and riding their Harley in the Tennessee hillside. A graduate of Michigan State University, he is an avid Spartan football and basketball fan.


Jamie Ramirez

COO/Co-Founder

Jamie has been creating brands and serving the Tattoo Industry since 2010. Jamie first developed and launched Steelfangs Pride Tattoo Needles for artists who wanted a uniform consistency of high quality pre-made needles. In 2014, he launched the Phucstyx Cartridge System which was the first branded cartridge system in the United States. In 2016, he developed and hosted the first Tatlantis International Art Show at the Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island, Bahamas. Tatlantis brings in top artists from around the world to compete for the richest prize pool in tattooing. In 2018, he joined with several others to create and launch Blackwork Supply to bring emerging medical technologies to the forefront of the tattoo industry. Blackwork Chloroprene exam gloves are an example of a product that is rapidly becoming the preferred glove of tattooers worldwide for its advanced properties in comfort, use and protection. Blackwork intends to make the Tattoo Industry a safer and more professional trade through technology and innovation.


William Sams

Director of Marketing/Co-Founder

William (aka Willy) is a natural born salesman and serial entrepreneur. He has started and sold multiple companies. Today, in addition to co-founding Blackwork Worldwide, he owns and operates a lucrative online sports memorabilia business known as Top Dollar Gems. William is responsible for all of Blackwork’s online marketing initiatives including social media. His expertise with online platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and algorithms have led to his success in customer acquisition, customer development, new product introductions and marketplace expansion. William maintains deep customer relationships and enjoys finding and entering new markets.

William was born in Lexington, Kentucky and despite moving to Florida as a child continues to support his home state Kentucky Wildcats. He also enjoys fishing with his son and spending time with family.


Manny Aguero

Board Director/Co-Founder

Manny is a 35-year healthcare industry veteran in medical, surgical and device manufacturing and distribution. Throughout his career, Manny has co-founded and led several successful healthcare entities, most often taking the lead in financial operations, mergers and acquisitions.

In addition to leading the Fort Lauderdale, Florida based company he co-founded 31 years ago, he also serves on several Boards of Directors of various distribution and manufacturing organizations.

Manny and his wife Marlene reside in Fort Lauderdale, Florida while trying to keep up with their twin teenagers. Manny is a graduate of the University of Florida, a proud Gator!


Tony Egizi

Board Director

Tony is a successful executive with over 30 years of finance and business experience running large scale diverse organizations. Tony is the President/COO of a large multi-family office and is responsible for overseeing and managing a diverse investment portfolio.

Tony is a graduate of Rutgers University in Accounting and Finance and resides with his wife and three children in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.


Cliff Berry

Chief Financial Officer

Cliff has over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. His background includes financial accounting and reporting, compliance and business management. He is a licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of CPAs. Cliff is a cycling enthusiast and enjoys jogging and basketball.


Anthony Ramirez

Warehouse Manager & Convention Coordinator

Anthony has never had a job other than in the tattoo business. He began working at age sixteen in data entry and shipping for Phucstyx, his father’s (Jamie’s) company. Since that time, he has worked his way up the ranks and today is responsible for the entire warehouse operation and tradeshows for both Blackwork and Phucstyx.
